Urban Youth Justice Documentary
This is a feature-length documentary that I helped direct, film, and edit for a ministry leader who invests in young men and women in juvenile detention facilities. In pursuing his doctorate degree, he asked us to help create this documentary about fatherlessness and the role of Christian mentorship in the lives of these young people.
Exkursion Conference Welcome Video
This video was made to welcome givers, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and people from all around the world who care about global generosity and come together once a year for dialogue, cultural immersion, and connection.
I edited this video using stock footage and a variety of motion graphics and other effects to be a simple but warm welcome that inspires and builds anticipation for the adventure to come.
A Call to Create
A Call to Create is a short documentary I filmed, directed, and edited featuring three local creatives with different crafts.
As a creative myself, I made this film as an artistic and reflexive style film seeking to explore the unique qualities and perspectives of artists, in hopes that others watching would be able to recognize a creative heart within themselves.
UG Awards Video Recipient
This video highlights an award recipient for a ministry leader, and utilized a simple film and editing style in order to focus on the story being told. This premiered at the Underground Network's annual awards ceremony.
SaltBlock Ad
Though not an official ad, this sequence was created during my internship with Diamond View Studios in Tampa. They provided a library of B-roll, and I edited it not only to advertise the meal service company but to tell a story.
SUMMIT Promo Video
SUMMIT is an annual conference for leaders in the Underground Network to worship together, learn new tools and frameworks for mission, and plan for the ministry semester ahead.
I filmed, edited, wrote the script for, and was even featured in this promo video that was shared on various social media channels.
Quarantine Bread
This was a just a fun project I did during the pandemic, when so many people were making banana bread while stuck at home, I decided to play around with slow-motion and create this simple sequence.
